This topic describes how to change the tag display mode in the Editor window in the Editor view.
To change the way tag text is displayed, select Format > Tag Display Mode from the menu bar in the Editor view and select:
No Tag Text to display tags without any text on them.
Partial Tag Text to display tags with partial text on them. Place the cursor over a tag to display the full tag content in a tooltip.
Full Tag Text to display tag text in full. This option may be useful when interpreting generic tags, such as those used to represent formatting instructions in PowerPoint, Excel and converted FrameMaker or Interleaf documents.
Tag ID to display the tag ID rather than tag text. Tag ID numbers are unique identifiers which are automatically assigned to each tag pair and placeholder tag in the document. This option also displays (at the top of Editor window) the name of the filter that was used when opening this document
NOTE |
These options are also available from the Translation and Review tool bar. |
