You can use the QuickInsert toolbar to insert tags into a target document. This is useful, for example to quickly apply formatting.
To insert tags from the QuickInsert toolbar, do one of the following in the Editor window in the Editor view:
Position the cursor in the target segment and click the appropriate button. The tag pair is inserted at the cursor position.
Select the text in the target segment and click the appropriate button. The tag formatting is applied to the selected text.

By default, SDL Trados Studio settings specify that recognized formatting tags are hidden, therefore tags remain hidden when inserted and instead the text is formatted in the style in the Editor window. |
