Microsoft Excel File Types

You can use the following settings to specify how SDL Trados Studio handles Microsoft Excel File Types file types.

Settings	Use the settings in the dialog to...
QuickInsert	Specify the items that are available on the applicable QuickInsert toolbar, displayed in Editor view.
Optional content	Specify what spreadsheet content is presented for translation, and how macros are handled.
Worksheet name	Specify the behavior when a worksheet name is too long.
Order of sheets and shapes	Specify the order that SDL Trados Studio presents workbook items for translation.
Font mapping	Specify what fonts to use in the target document to replace specified fonts in the source document.
Tag Verification	Specify the checks that SDL Trados Studio does on tags, for example, check if tags have been inserted, deleted, or moved.

NOTE

To process Microsoft Excel 2000-2003 files, Microsoft Excel 2003 must be installed.
