Box

Description

Standard

Select from the drop-down list.

Unless you choose Custom, the value here defines the content of the Name, Code, Identifier, and Description fields.

Purpose

Select one of the following:

  • Match. Enable the element content to be matched against a TM.

  • Information. Select if the element is not matched against a TM in the translation.

Name, Code, Identifier, Description

If you did not choose custom as the standard context, these fields are set for you.

If you did choose custom, you can put any text here.

The Display Code appears in the document structure column. The other fields are used internally.

Set description from content of this relative XPath:

If the description is not set, you can use an XPath in this text box to pull out a value from the XML document to use as a description.

For example, you have the following element:

<content description=”This content is a car type”>Content goes here </content>.

In this box, you can specify the XPath @description. This pulls the string, This content is a car type, as the description. This means that if the description changes for each <content>...</content> element, a different description for each context associated with that element is used instead of having the same description. Therefore, the XPath is relative to the element it describes.

Color

If you selected Custom from the Standard drop-down list, you can click Edit to change the background color of the code displayed in the document structure column

Formatting

Click Edit to display the Formatting dialog box, specify formatting for the element text displayed in the document structure column.
