Use the Custom Dictionaries dialog box to manage custom dictionary configuration and content.
To display this dialog box, display the Editor > Spelling settings in the Options dialog box and click Custom Dictionaries.

Dictionary list |
The list of custom dictionaries in the configuration file. To disable a dictionary, clear the check box to the left of the dictionary name. To enable the dictionary, select the check box. |
Modify |
Click this to edit the currently selected customer dictionary and display the Custom Dictionary Name.dic dialog box. |
Change Default |
Click this to make the selected dictionary the default dictionary for the language to which it applies. When the user clicks Add to Dictionary during a spell check, SDL Trados Studio adds the word to the default dictionary. There can only be one default dictionary per language. |
New |
Click this to create a custom dictionary file for SDL Trados Studio . |
Add |
Click this to add an existing custom dictionary file. |
Remove |
Click this to remove the selected dictionary from the configuration. This does not delete the dictionary file. |
Full path |
The file path of the custom dictionary file that is selected. |
