Use the Edit Comments dialog box is used to manage your comments. You can add new versions of a comment, edit existing comments or delete comment versions.
To display this dialog box in the Editor view:
Select a comment in the Comments window and click the Edit button or right-click and select Edit Comment.
Place your cursor inside some text that has a comment (highlighted in your document) and select Edit > Edit Comment from the menu bar.

The first column displays an icon showing the severity of the comment. The following icons can appear:

Scope |
The scope of the comment. This can be one of the following:

Author |
The name of the user who added the comment. |
Version |
The comment version number. |
Date |
The date the comment was added. |
Comment |
The comment text. |
Add |
Click this button to add a new version of the comment. |
Edit |
Click this button to edit the existing version of the comment. |
Delete |
Click this button to delete the comment. |
