QA Checker > QA Checker Profiles

Use the QA Checker 3.0 > QA Checker Profiles settings to load predefined QA Checker profiles. This changes the settings specified on all of the pages in the QA Check 3.0 settings.

These settings appear in multiple dialog boxes in SDL Trados Studio. Click here for more information about finding the appropriate dialog box.

Load predefined profile

Select one of the following predefined profiles:

  • Excel verification settings
    This default profile configures the settings used by the Excel Verification Plug-in. Excel Worksheet names must not exceed 31 characters, must not contain "\/?*[]:" and must not be empty. For example, the Check for forgotten and empty translations option will also be activated when this profile is applied.

  • Reset all settings to default
    This profile resets all QA Checker 3.0 settings pages at once whereas the Reset to Defaults button will reset only selected settings pages.

  • Strict verification
    This means that all available checks will be carried out.

Reset all settings before applying selected profile

If you select this check box, your settings are all reverted to the default settings and then when a profile is selected it only changes the required settings.

Apply profile

Click this to apply the profile you selected from the Load predefined profile drop-down list.
