Using the Search Panel
The Search Panel is a useful tool for locating your projects, quotes, or related documents quickly. Note that the search items listed in the Search For: box depends on the columns currently selected as visible in a particular table.
  1. In a table that you want to search, click Search Panel.
    The Search Panel displays a Search For: box and a Find Now button.
  2. Select an item to search from the Search In box, for example, select ID.
  3. Type in a few numbers (or letters for word-based items) in the Search For field, for example, 101 or DEF.
    Note: The Search In criteria affects what you can select in the Search For field. For example, if you select Locale, the Search For changes to a selection list. If you select Creation Date, the Search For changes to calendar "date pick" fields.
  4. Click .
  5. Click Clear Search to clear the search criteria and begin a new search.
