Exporting a Project for Offline Work
  1. In Assignments > Projects , select a project and click Export.
  2. In the Create Translation Kit for Projects dialog box, select the format in which to export the tasks:
    • WSXZ - SDL Studio 2009 WSXZ file
    • XLZ - WorldServer Desktop WorkBench XLZ file
    • XLIFF - A ZIP file containing a file in XML Localization Interchange File Format
    Note: The formats that appear are controlled by settings in the exchange.properties file. If the format you require is not shown, see your WorldServer administrator.
    Note: An exported WSXZ kit will not contain project or task level attachments. Any attachments for the project or task must be added into the WSXZ manually before the kit is sent to the translators.
  3. Specify whether to allow split and merge, segments to exclude, a translation memory attribute filter, and a terminology database attribute filter, if necessary.
    Tip: You can add translation memory and terminology database attribute filters from this dialog box by clicking Add Filter next to the appropriate filter type.
  4. Click OK.
