HTML Elements and Attributes
Specify how the SDL file type software processes HTML elements and attributes.
Keep all line breaks
You can keep all line breaks in the HTML source code. (This does not refer to line break elements <br>.)
Treat unrecognized elements as structure or inline
If the source file contains an element that is unrecognized - that is, one that is not listed here, the software treats the element as a tag. Choose whether this tag should be Inline or Structure.
Element Settings page
Available options are:
Name
The HTML tag name, for example as defined in the HTML DTD.
Tag type
If blank, then the tag type is Structure.
Content Type
As defined in the DTD.
Content (Content protection)
Specifies if the content of the element is to be translated.
Translatable attributes (Attribute)
Check those attributes that are to be translated. For example, many browsers use the title attribute of an element as a tooltip, so you usually set the title to be translatable.
Condition
A condition is a combination of elements and attribute values that specifies the conditions under which the element has the specified translatable attribute.
For example you might specify that a caption element is translatable if it has a lang="en", but not otherwise.
A second example: you might specify that an element (my_element) is be translatable when it is in the body but not when it is in the head of a document. In that case, enter the element twice, each time with a different condition, for example:
my_element is translatable under condition: body/my_element
my_element is protected under condition: head/my_element
