The Microsoft Word 2007-2010 Studio file type presents the text defined by the settings for translation. Some of the settings for this file type are identical to those of the Word 2003 and RTF Studio file types, but all are provided here for reference. The file type uses a series of configuration pages for these settings:

• QuickInsert — Specifies the items that are available on the applicable SDL Studio QuickInsert toolbar, displayed in Editor view.
• Non-translatable styles — Specify what text to exclude from translation, based on the text style
• Other Settings — Choose miscellaneous options, such as whether to process document properties. SDL Studio cannot open a Word document that has Track Changes enabled, but these settings include an option to allow SDL Studio to open a document with unaccepted changes if Track Changes is disabled.
• Font Mapping — Specify fonts to use in the target document, to replace specified fonts in the source document.
