About the Rich Text Format (RTF) Studio File Type
By default, the Rich Text Format (RTF) Studio file type recognizes the .rtf file extension.
You can configure some aspects of Studio file types in Management > Linguistic Tool Setup > Filter Configurations .
Note: To process RTF files, Microsoft Word 2007 (or Microsoft Word 2003 with the Office 2007 compatibility pack) must be installed on the machine that runs the FTS server.
