TM Import - Step 2
You can load an external translation memory (TM) by importing a TMX file from Tools > Translation Memories .
  1. In Tools > Translation Memories , select the translation memory into which to import TMX.
Tip: If you want to import TMX into a new translation memory, you need to set up a new translation memory first.
  2. Click Import from TMX File.
  3. In the Import dialog box, click Browse and select the TMX file to import. Click Next.
  4. In the Step 2 of 2 dialog, specify the appropriate language codes and whether you want the import to occur as a background process.
Note: If the TMX file you are importing contains multiple language combinations (for example, "en-us" to "es" and "en-us" to "de"), the combinations are displayed, along with check boxes you can use to skip the import of the checked combination.
  5. Click Import.
The importer displays an Import Job ID and, when complete, tells how many TM matches were processed.
  6. When the import is complete, click OK.
  7. Refresh the page.
