WorldServer provides translation memory and term database filters, which handle translation memory entries and term attributes. Attribute filters allow you to filter the results of a search or to filter exported data based on their attributes.

The Attribute Filter Editor has different options, depending on whether you access it from the TM or TD search pages or from the TD, TM, or asset export pages (Export TMX Entries from TM Database <TM>, Export Entries from Term Database: <TD>, or (Create Translation Kit for Assets (Step 2 of 2)). If you access it from the TM or TD search page, it is simply for saving the filter you have already defined, and for giving the filter a description and, optionally, making it Public. If you access it from an export page, you define the rules for the filter in this Attribute Filter Editor page.

To add a filter, give it a name, a description, if you choose, make it Public, and define its rules (where to search, what operator to use, and what to search for). Then click Save.
