Default – WorldServer internal authentication, which requires no additional configuration (except for the creation of WorldServer users).

Enhanced – Enhanced authentication is the same as Default in terms of its internal authentication, but it allows for stricter password rules. If you change from default to enhanced authentication, existing users will be forced to change their passwords the first time they log in after the change.

LDAP – Lightweight Directory Access Protocol, an industry-standard open client/server protocol for accessing a directory service. In LDAP authentication, authentication information is supplied in the “bind” operation.
