Changing Asset Properties

To change the properties of a folder or asset
  1. In Management > Asset Interface System > View and Change Properties , navigate to the folder or asset you want to change.
  2. Click the Change button that corresponds to the appropriate folder or asset. Adjust properties as appropriate. (Or, with a folder or asset selected in Explorer, click Assets > Properties .)
    The Change Properties dialog box shows whether each property is explicit or inherited. If a property is explicit, it is different from its hierarchical parent. If a property is inherited, it is the same as its hierarchical parent (and changes when the parent changes). As such, you do not have to change properties for every asset and folder, only the top level folder from which all properties are inherited.
  3. Click Set value explicitly for this asset and modify the property as needed.
  4. Click OK.
