Custom Filters
You might receive custom filters from SDL, or modify your own using the SDK. In either case, you upload them from the Customization page where they can be used in your translation projects.
Management > Administration > Customization: Filters
Note the following about the filter components that appear on the Customization page:
See the About Filter Configurations topic for more information on using and configuring filters. That information applies equally to custom and standard filters.
Note: Custom filters run directly on the WorldServer application machine, and not on the File Type Support (FTS) server. Some connectors, such as the SQL connector, do not permit mixing Studio file types (which use the FTS server) with Custom filters in the same mount.
To upload a custom filter
  1. On the Customization:Filters page, click Add.
  2. Click Browse.
  3. Select the ZIP file containing the filter.
  4. Click Open.
  5. Click OK.
