Example: Configuring Organizations and Users for an LSP

You can provide a set up that is appropriate for a small business as follows:

At the root organization:

  1. Create all users. Initially, give them the Guest role. To create a user:
    • Click User Management
    • Click Users tab
    • Click Add.
  2. Add a server to hold the container that you need for TMs:
    • Click Infrastructure

    • Click Servers tab

    • Click Add

  3. Create a container for the TMs that you will add:
    • Click Infrastructure
    • Click Containers tab
    • Click Add

 

Create an organization for each business client:

    • Click User Management
    • Click Add organization

 

For each business client organization:

  1. Create the TMs and other resources for that client.
  2. Assign roles to the appropriate users (project manager, translators, etc.).

 

Tip    You might find it useful to create a role that has no permissions and use that role for suspended or unapproved users.
