Stopping a termbase interrupts any user activity. Before stopping a termbase, inform users to allow them to save any work that is in progress, then disconnect the users.
Stop the termbase before deleting or reorganizing it, or if you want to temporarily prevent further work on it.

Disconnect the Users assigned to the termbase.
Right-click the termbase name in the navigation pane.
Select Stop Termbase. The termbase and its objects are now unavailable to users.
The termbase is still available for the Multiterm Administrator but the users will no longer see the termbase in the MultiTerm component.
