How to Send Files for a Regulator Review
If you work in a regulated industry and have purchased a license containing this feature, you can send a bundle of documents to an external regulator for review. A bundle is a zipped file that contains a specific collection of documents needed by the regulator. The documents can then be reviewed outside of Studio in Microsoft Word and any updates imported back into Studio.
Before you start:
You need the following:
- A license that supports this regulated industry feature.
- A project that contains at least one .docx file. You cannot create bundles from other file types in Studio.
Create the bundle:
-
In the Files view, select the files that you want to include in the bundle and then click Create Regulator Review Bundle on the Home tab.
- Click Next on the Batch Tasks page of the Batch Processing wizard.
- If you selected multiple files, the Files page is displayed. Select the files that you want to send for review and click Next.
- On the Settings page, select Language Pairs > All Language Pairs > Batch Processing > Create Regulator Review Bundle from the navigation tree.
- If required, change the location where the bundle will be created.
- Click Finish.
- When the wizard is finished creating the bundle, click Close.
-
A prompt is displayed asking if you want to open the folder containing the zipped bundles. Click Yes. The Regulator Bundle folder is opened. A bundle is created for each target language.
- Send the zipped bundle to the regulator using an agreed upon method. For example, by email or by placing the bundle on a FTP site.
