The Quick Access Toolbar

The Quick Access Toolbar is the mini-toolbar displayed above the Ribbon which contains the shortcuts for the most frequently used editing commands: Save, Undo/Redo, Preview Target Document. You can also customize the quick access toolbar with your preferred commands.

 

The screenshot below shows the Quick Access Toolbar on the ribbon interface:

 

Command

Description

Save

 This command appears on the Quick Access Toolbar in all views so that you can save your pending changes even if you are no longer in the Editor.

Undo/Redo

The Undo and the Redo commands appear only in the Translation Memories, Editor and Alignment views and are only active if have made changes to a document or to a translation memory and there are actions to undo or redo.

Preview Target Document

  This command is only is available in the Editor view and is active only if you have a document open.
