Active Translation Memory

You can have several translation memories open at the same time in the TM side-by-side editor window in the Translation Memories view. However, only one of these can be displayed at any time and this translation memory is known as the active translation memory.

To make a translation memory the active translation memory:

• If the translation memory appears in the navigation tree, double-click the translation memory or right-click and select Open from the shortcut menu.

• If the translation memory is not in the navigation tree, select File > Open > Open Translation Memory.

• If the translation memory is one of many that are currently open in the TM side-by-side editor window, click the name-tab of the window that contains the translation memory.
