Overview: Create Project Package Wizard

Use the Create Project Package wizard to create project packages that contain all of the files that need to be sent to a project team member in order for them to commence work on the project. Project packages have an extension of *sdlppx.

To display this wizard, select Project > Create Project Package from the menu bar in any view or select files in the Files view, right-click and then select Create Project Package from the shortcut menu.

The wizard contains the following pages:

Page	Description
Select Files	This is where you select which files to include in the project package. Click here for more information.
Project Package Options	This is where you specify where you want to save the project package and if you want to create one package or to split the files into multiple packages. Click here for more information.
Review Project Packages	This is where you: Review the package contents. Specify a manual task to be completed. Assign the package to a user to complete the task. Specify any files to be included as reference. Specify the date by which the task must be completed. Click here for more information.
Additional Options	This is where you specify: Which AutoSuggest dictionaries and termbases are included in the package. The type of translation memories to include and whether to create a new project translation memory. Whether to recalculate the word count and analysis figures for the files included in the package. If automated translation provider connection details are included in the package. Click here for more information.
Creating Packages	This is where you create project packages. You can also choose to automatically send those packages to the appropriate team members by email. Click here for more information.
