The Import wizard is used to import data into your translation memory. Imported data contains translation units with their associated fields. You can only import supported document types.
NOTE |
To import data into a translation memory, the translation memory must already exist and be displayed in the navigation pane. |
To display this wizard for the active translation memory, select File > Import from the menu bar in the Translation Memories view.

This is where you select the documents to import. You can select files individually and you can select folders. Click here for more information. |
TMX Import Options |
This page is displayed if you are importing a translation memory (TMX). You can filter unwanted translation units out of the import and specify how you want unknown fields to be handled. Click here for more information. |
Bilingual Document Import Options |
This page is displayed if you are importing bilingual (XLIFF, TTX, ITD) documents. You can choose to include or exclude translation units from the import based on their translation status. Click here for more information. |
General Import Options |
This is where you specify general import settings. For example, this is where you specify how you want invalid translation units to be handled. Click here for more information. |
Importing |
This page is displayed when the import is taking place. It tracks the import progress and displays import statistics. Click here for more information. |
