Working in a Workflow with Studio 2009 Users

SDL Trados Studio 2014 supports a project package workflow between Studio 2014 and Studio 2009 SP3. To send packages to a 2009 user from 2014, select the Projects view > Home tab > Packages group > Create Studio 2009 Project Package.

NOTE

Before creating 2009 packages, you should ensure that your *.sdlxliff file type settings embed the source files so that file types not supported in 2009 can still be edited. SDL recommends changing this setting prior to creating the project. For more information, see the Before you start section in the How to Create a Studio 2009 Project Package topic.
