How to Send Files for a Regulator Review

If you work in a regulated industry and have purchased a license containing this feature, you can send a bundle of documents to an external regulator for review. A bundle is a zipped file that contains a specific collection of documents needed by the regulator. The documents can then be reviewed outside of Studio in Microsoft Word and any updates imported back into Studio.

Before you start:

You need the following:

  • A license that supports this regulated industry feature.
  • A project that contains at least one .docx file. You cannot create bundles from other file types in Studio.

Create the bundle:

  1. In the Files view, select the files that you want to include in the bundle and then click Create Regulator Review Bundle on the Home tab.

  1. Click Next on the Batch Tasks page of the Batch Processing wizard.
  2. If you selected multiple files, the Files page is displayed. Select the files that you want to send for review and click Next.
  3. On the Settings page, select Language Pairs > All Language Pairs > Batch Processing > Create Regulator Review Bundle from the navigation tree.
  4. If required, change the location where the bundle will be created.
  5. Click Finish.
  1. When the wizard is finished creating the bundle, click Close.
  2. A prompt is displayed asking if you want to open the folder containing the zipped bundles. Click Yes. The Regulator Bundle folder is opened.  A bundle is created for each target language.

  3. Send the zipped bundle to the regulator using an agreed upon method. For example, by email or by placing the bundle on a FTP site.
