How to Run a Batch Task or Task Sequence
You can run a batch task or a task sequence on a document, a group of selected files or all files in a project. A batch process is a process that is performed by the system on project files, at your request.
- Click Projects view > Home tab > Tasks group > Batch Tasks > Custom. The Batch Processing wizard is displayed.

You can also choose to run a batch task on a group of files in the Files view or on the active document in the Editor view. |
On the Batch Tasks page, select the task/task sequence you want to run from the Task Sequence drop-down list. Click Next.
On Files page, all files for the active project are listed. Select the files on which you want the batch task to be run.

If you are working with a GroupShare server-based project, if any of the selected files cannot be downloaded or checked out from the server, the files will automatically be deselected in the list and a message is displayed at the bottom of the page indicating why those files cannot be processed. |
Click Next. The Settings page is displayed.
Depending on which batch task you selected to run, different settings for processing are available from the navigation tree. Select the following from the navigation tree under Language Pairs > All Language Pairs > Batch Processing to specify settings for the corresponding batch task:
When you have finished working with task settings, click Next. The Performing Tasks page is displayed. Each task is run in order; a progress bar indicates the progress of the current task.
When the selected task/task sequence is complete, if you want to view the task results, display them in a report or save them to a file, select the task and click Task Results to display the Task Results dialog box.

that the task failed because of errors.
Click Close when you have finished working with the task results. Any reports generated from the batch task are displayed in the Reports view.
If you are working with a GroupShare server-based project, switch to the Files view, right-click on the files that you have just edited and then select Check in.
