Translation Memory and Automated Translation > Update

Use the Translation Memory and Automated Translation > Update settings to specify the field values to assign to new translation units when updating the translation memory. By default, a new translation is automatically added to the translation memory and assigned the field values specified when you confirm a translation during editing. If you prefer to add the translations manually, you can change this setting at any time. Automation settings are located in the Options dialog box.

Box	Description
Field Values: Use this option to specify the field values that will be assigned to new translation units when the translation memory is updated.
Field	The name of the field.
Value	Select or enter the value of the field. If it is a picklist field, select a value from a list of options. If it is a text field, enter the text value. If it is a number field, enter a number. If it is a date field, enter the date in the format DD/MM/ YYYY.
