Select this to check that source segments and their corresponding translations end with the same punctuation.

If you are translating into Spanish, this checks that Spanish punctuation rules have been correctly applied. For example, sentences that end with ? or ! must also begin with an inverted version of the same character.

This checks applies to all variants of the Spanish language, for example, Spanish from Spain and Spanish from Mexico.

Select this to check for translations where a space has been inserted before the punctuation character that ends the sentence. Enter a set of punctuation characters before which a space should not occur.

In French, there should be a space between the last word in a sentence and certain punctuation marks such as exclamation marks or question marks. If you select this option, the check will only return results where there is no space before the punctuation characters specified.

Select this to check for translations that contain a sequence of spaces (at least two).

Select this to check for translations that contain a series of dots (at least two).

Select this to ignore ellipsis dots (...) in this check.

Select this to check whether there is extra space at the end of a target segment that is not contained in the source segment.

Select this to check for capitalization of the initial letter. It looks for target segments where the initial letter was not capitalized, though in the source segment the corresponding letter is capitalized. If multiple sentences are in target segment, the first sentence has to have the same capitalization as the first sentence in the source segment; others have to start with upper case.

If the source segment is all in capitals, it checks that the entire target segment is also all in capitals.

For example, if ATTENTION is in the source segment, the translation in the target segment must be fully capitalized WARNUNG.
