System Administrator Topic: see MultiTerm Administrator
Remote termbases are created by the MultiTerm Administrator and stored centrally on a remote database server in the network environment, so that multiple users can access them.
These are the same termbase objects that are available in local termbases. See About Termbase Objects.
They give additional rights within the termbase. Termbase catalog objects are grouped as follows:
Public Objects are available to all termbase users in MultiTerm. They are stored in the Public Objects branch of the termbase tree and include the default termbase objects. The default objects are automatically available with each new termbase.
Role Objects are stored for each termbase role in the Roles branch of the termbase tree. They are assigned to a particular role and can only be accessed by members of that role. See About Roles and Access Rights.
User Objects are stored for each termbase user in the Users branch of the termbase tree. They are assigned to or created by a particular user and can only be accessed by that user. See About User Types.

You cannot change the access level of a termbase object, but you can Duplicate it, and give the duplicate a different access level. |
