Administrators have access rights to SDL MultiTerm Administrator. They create and manage termbases, the termbase catalog, roles and users.
A normal user views and/or edits termbase data. Users can be added to the Administrator role when Adding or Editing a user.
The super user has unrestricted rights and can perform any activity in the MultiTerm system. The first user of MultiTerm Administrator assumes the identity of the super user. It is at this time the default password for the super user should be changed by Editing a User.
The super user is an administrator, and is automatically a member of the Expert User role in every termbase. The super user can add other users to the role of Administrator.
You cannot delete the super user.
The following login rules apply to the super user:
SDL MultiTerm Server does not allow the super user to log in more than once at the same time.
Provided no super user is already logged in, super can always log in, even if the maximum number of concurrent connections to the server has been reached.
Edit the User account for super as soon as feasible, and change the password from its default value.
Do not use the super account routinely for administrative tasks. Give one or more other user accounts administrator rights, and reserve super account for special circumstances.
The guest user is a member of the predefined Public role in every termbase on the server.
Because membership of the Public role grants read-only access to termbase entries, the guest user account might be suitable for termbase visitors.
The guest user cannot log in to SDL MultiTerm Administrator as an administrator.
You cannot delete the guest user.
