MultiTerm Server is protected by means of a software key mechanism. The software key is used to configure the server for use according to the terms of your MultiTerm license.
To specify the FLEXIm license file:
From the Start menu, choose Programs > SDL > SDL MultiTerm 2009 > MultiTerm Server Console to launch the console.
In the navigation tree, click Environment . The server environment settings are displayed.
Under Licensing, click Show License Manager. The SDL License Manager is displayed.
Click License Locations. The Change License Locations and Test Files page is displayed.
Click Add to display the Specify SDL FLEXlm License Location dialog box.
Select the required option and provide license location details. The syntax for specifying a license server is usually port@server, for example: 27000@myserver. If you are specifying a license file, click Browse to locate the file or type the full path name of the file.
Click OK to close the Specify SDL FLEXlm License Location dialog box.
Click OK to close the Change License Locations and Test Files page.
Click Close to close the SDL License Manager.
You need to restart the database service to apply this change.
