The following XML file types are included in SDL Trados Studio when it is shipped, and are displayed in the File Types tree list:
File Type |
File Name Extension |
XML: Microsoft .Net Resources |
.resx |
XML: OASIS DITA Compliant |
.xml .dita |
XML:W3C ITS Compliant |

XHTML |
.xhtml |
XML: Any XML |
.xml |
XLIFF |
.xliff |

XLIFF file types are listed because XLIFF is a form of XML. However, SDL Trados Studio processes XLIFF files as a distinct file type, quite differently from the way it treats other XML files.
