Steps in workflows consist of actions that you select in the workflow editor. These actions may be provided by your WorldServer installation, or defined for your particular environment.

To help you build workflows more effectively, WorldServer provides both human and automatic actions that you can select inside the Workflow Editor. The Automatic Actions Table and Human Actions Table topics list the available actions in detail.

WorldServer administrators can upload additional automatic actions from the software development kit (SDK) provided with the WorldServer installation. Uploaded actions are immediately available in the Workflow Editor.
