WorldServer Desktop Workbench allows you to work with core bits of a WorldServer project as contained in a WorldServer translation kit (.xlz file).

A project contains one or more assets, plus all applicable translation memory and terminology database matches from WorldServer.

After you receive a translation kit and create a WorldServer Desktop Workbench project, you can translate your assets. When you are finished, you can export the project to a new .xlz file or upload it to WorldServer. You can also export segments to a text file.

To use WorldServer Desktop Workbench, download the application. From the WorldServer Home tab, click WorldServer Desktop Workbench under Useful Links to begin the download.
