To share a project online, you can publish a project during project creation or you can publish an existing local Studio project to the GroupShare Project Server. Existing projects can be ones created in SDL Trados Studio using the New Project wizard or a project that was created when you opened a package. Supported packages are ones created in Studio, WorldServer or TMS.
GroupShare server-based projects can only contain references to server-based translation memories and termbases. Settings, such as the minimum match value, are also stored along with those references.
NOTE |
You can still leverage from file-based TMs and termbases when creating a project or during translation. However, when you publish a project to the Project Server, the references to those resources are removed. |
GroupShare projects can only contain references to AutoSuggest dictionaries that are stored on a shared public location and use an UNC (Universal Naming Convention) path. This indicates the exact location on a network with the prefix \\ before the path.
\\Shared Drive\AutoSuggest_Dictionaries\AutoSuggest_EN-US_DE-DE.bpm
Z:\AutoSuggest Dictionaries\AutoSuggest_EN-US_DE-DE.bpm
NOTE |
When you publish a project to the Project Server, any references to AutoSuggest dictionaries stored on your local computer are removed. |
