The Local State column in the Files view indicates whether you have the latest version of the file from a GroupShare server-based project on your machine. See GroupShare Project Local File States for more information.
When you check out work in Studio, the latest version of the files from the GroupShare Project Server is automatically copied to your computer.
You may want to do this if you plan on working offline with the files or you want to view the progress of the files in detail.
In the Files view, right-click on the file and select Get Latest Version from the shortcut menu.
If you have modified the file without checking it out from the server, you will be prompted to overwrite any changes.
The status of the file in the Local State column changes to Up-to-date.
