The Select Project File dialog box informs you that the document you are opening is already part of an existing project.
Studio displays this dialog box if ALL the conditions below are met:
|
NOTE |
Studio creates the [documentname].[documenttype]_[sourcelanguage]_[targetlanguage].sdlxliff and [documentname].[documenttype]_[sourcelanguage]_[targetlanguage].sdlproj files when you save the single document that open for translation, or when you create a new project. |
Use the Select Project File dialog box to tell Studio how to handle documents which already have a project attached to it:
|
Option |
Description |
|
Open existing project file |
Opens the existing [documentname].[documenttype]_[sourcelanguage]_[targetlanguage].sdlxliff version of the document in the Editor. Studio also retrieves and any current changes to the target language version of the document. |
|
Create new project file |
Creates a new [documentname].[documenttype]_[sourcelanguage]_[targetlanguage].sdlxliff version of the document and opens it in the Editor. This discards any current changes to the old sdlxliff and sdlproj files and overwrites them with the new versions of the files. |
