The Organization Tree displays the current organization hierarchy. This is the tree structure that currently exists in either SDL TM Server or SDL Global AMS.
All organizations you create are direct descendents of the root organization. Users created at root level are automatically available to all child organizations. If you add users to a child organization, these are not available to the root organization or to other child organizations on the same level in the tree.
The following rules govern visibility of data between descendents:
Data in a higher level organization is always available to its direct descendants.
Data in an organization cannot be used by any organizations except direct descendents. For example, an organization’s data is not visible to sibling organizations or to higher level organizations.
