This topic describes how to create a batch task sequence.
To create a batch task sequence:
Select File > Setup > Task Sequences from the menu bar. The Task Sequences dialog box is displayed.
Click Add. The New Task Sequence dialog box is displayed.
Enter a meaningful name and description for the new task sequence.
Create the task
sequence by dragging tasks from the Available
tasks column into the Selected tasks
column: the tasks will be performed in the order in which they appear
here. If you get the order wrong, remove the tasks from the Selected tasks column and then add them
again in the correct order.
After selecting a task, other tasks in the Available
tasks column may become unavailable. This means that they are
not appropriate for selection at this time.
Click OK when the sequence is complete. The new task sequence now appears in the Task Sequences dialog box.
Click Close to close the Task Sequences dialog box. The new task sequence now appears for selection in menus and in wizards.
If you want to run the new task sequence, click here to find out how.
