You can display whitespace characters in the Editor window in the Editor view and the TM side-by-side editor window in the Translation Memories view. When they are displayed, whitespace characters (for example, spaces, non-breaking spaces, tabs and line breaks) appear as symbols in the document text.

Because line breaks usually mark the end of a segment, line break characters are not usually visible in the Editor window. If you want to display line break characters you must apply a filter to the active documents and choose to display content outside segment boundaries.
