This topic describes how to perform a concordance search in the Editor view.
To perform a concordance search in the Editor view, you can:
Type or paste some search text into the text box in the Concordance Search window and then click either Search Source or Search Target.
You can also select text in the Editor window and use keyboard shortcuts to perform a concordance search.

You may not be able to use target language segments in concordance searches. The ability to search target language entries is optional and the decision to allow their use is made when the translation memory is created or when you edit the translation memory properties. |
To insert a search result into your translation in the Editor window:
Examine the results in the Concordance Search window and decide which translation you want to use.
Select the required text, right-click and select Copy from the shortcut menu (or press Ctrl+C).
Place the cursor in the target language segment where you want the text to appear.
Right-click and select Paste from the shortcut menu (or press Ctrl+V).
