New Translation Memory Wizard > Language Resources

Use the Language Resources page of the New Translation Memory wizard to define the language resources to be used by the new translation memory.

Whichever settings are applied, you can edit them in this page of the wizard.

To display this page, click Next on the Fields and Settings page of the New Translation Memory wizard.

Language Resources

If you have created a language resource template, you can select it here. Click Browse to select a template that does not appear in the drop-down list. When you apply a template, the lists are copied across to the translation memory.

Alternatively, you can use the default language resource settings:

  • If you are creating a translation memory from scratch, Default = the default settings for the language.

  • If you are creating a new translation memory based on an existing translation memory, Default = the language settings copied from the copy-from translation memory.

You can edit both the default settings and settings taken from a language resource template.

When you edit a language resource:

  • The name of the updated resource list is displayed in bold.

  • If you selected a language resource template, an asterisk is appended to the template name.

Click Finish to start creating the new translation memory and display the Creating page of the New Translation Memory wizard.
