This topic describes how to toggle on and off the display of segment numbers in the Editor window. This removes the two segment number columns from the window, creating a larger editing area.
To remove the segment number columns from the Editor window:
Select Tools > Options from the menu bar. The Options dialog box is displayed.
Select Editor from the navigation tree. The Editor settings are displayed on the right.
Display options for the Editor window are displayed on the right under Side-by-Side Editor.
If you want to remove the segment number columns, clear the selection from the Show segment numbers check box.
If you want to add the segment number columns, select the Show segment numbers check box.
Click OK to save the settings and close the Options dialog box.
