Closing Alignment Files

When you finish reviewing and correcting possible misalignments in an alignment result file (*.sdlalign), close any files open in the Alignment view.

You can open an unlimited number of alignment result files in the Alignment view. Each file is displayed as a tab on top of the Alignment view editor with the active document highlighted in white: . If there are pending changes to the file, Studio adds an asterisk (*) at the end of the file name.

To close files open in the Alignment view:

click Close on the Home tab to close the file currently active in the Alignment view.
click Close All on the Home tab to close all files currently open in the Alignment view. This also closes the Alignment view completely.

NOTE	Make sure to Save the Alignment Files before closing them.
