SDL Trados Studio may create incorrect alignments when you are working with source documents that are very different from the corresponding target documents. If you align documents with review or if you choose to review the Retrofit alignment, Studio opens the alignment results file in the Alignment view where you can correct any misalignments or incorrect text in the source and target files.
When you examine the alignment result in the Alignment view, pay special attention to:
differences in formatting and tags
big differences in the size of the paired segments
disconnected segments
