Step 1 and 2: Perform Initial Steps for Translation in WorldServer
for a Regulated Industry
In WorldServer, specify your file type settings to allow you to do translation
for a regulated industry. Then create a project with the files for translation
and create the package to send to the translator for use in Studio.
- To translate for a regulated industry, set up your Studio file
type for Microsoft Word 2007 – 2013
so that you can work with files that have tracked changes in the source.
- Display the Common settings
page for this filter.
- From the Track changes extraction
mode drop-down list, select Display
pending changes.
- Create a project in WorldServer with the updated MS Word .docx
files.
- Create a WorldServer project package (.wxsz) and then send to the
Studio user for translation.
