Use the AutoSuggest settings to specify:
Global settings for AutoSuggest .
Where the translated words and phrases presented to you by AutoSuggest will come from. The choices are AutoText entries, SDL MultiTerm termbases and AutoSuggest dictionaries.

To display the AutoSuggest settings, select Tools > Options from the menu bar and then select Editor > AutoSuggest from the navigation tree in the Options dialog box.

Show the suggestions window when there are less than x or less suggestions |
AutoSuggest phrases will only be presented for selection when there are fewer of them than the number specified here. |
Show suggestions which have x or more characters |
AutoSuggest words and phrases will only be presented to you if they contain at least the number of characters specified here. For example, if you select 6 here, only words and phrases containing 6 characters or more will be presented to you for selection. |
Hide suggestions which have already been used |
When this option is selected, AutoSuggest suggestions will only be presented to you if the word or phrase does not already exist in the current segment translation. |
AutoSuggest ProvidersSpecify where you want AutoSuggest suggestions to come from. You can select as many sources as you want. The order in which the sources appear in this list is the order in which they are used by AutoSuggest . NOTE Higher priority is given to results from the provider that is highest in the list. |

AutoSuggest Dictionaries |
Select this to use words and phrases extracted from translation memories or *.tmx files. For this option to work you must have generated or added an AutoSuggest dictionary. Click here for more information. |
Termbases |
Select this to use suggestions from your selected SDL MultiTerm termbase. |
AutoText |
Select this to use words and phrases that you have typed into the AutoText page. To set up a word list, complete the AutoSuggest > AutoText page. |
Move Up |
Click this to move the selected provider up the list. |
Move Down |
Click this to move the selected provider down the list. |
