Batch Processing > Fuzzy Bands

Use the Batch Processing > Fuzzy Bands settings to specify which fuzzy bands are used during translation analysis. Fuzzy Bands are the translation memory fuzzy-match bands that will be used when the translation analysis is performed. The analysis figures will show the number of segments, words, characters in the project files that fall in each of the bands. You can change the default settings, remove a band or add a new band (by splitting an existing band). Translation analysis occurs when you run the Analyze Files batch task. These bands are used in the Analysis Statistics window in the Projects and Files view and also when the Analyze Files report is generated during the Analyze Files batch task.

These settings appear in multiple dialog boxes in SDL Trados Studio. Click here for more information about finding the appropriate dialog box.
