This topic describes how to specify the settings used when quality assurance checks are performed on your files.
Choose where you want to specify the settings.
Select Verification > QA Checker 3.0 from the navigation tree. The QA Checker 3.0 settings are displayed on the right.
Specify the settings for the following:
Segments Verification - Allows you to check that segments are completed correctly and there are no missing translations, for example.
Segments to Exclude - Allows you to skip certain segments, for example, if a PerfectMatch has already been found.
Inconsistencies - Allows you to check for inconsistencies if the same text is rendered in several different ways.
Punctuation - Allows you to make sure that punctuation is correct. For example, in some countries, certain punctuation rules have to be observed.
Numbers - Allows you to check that numbers, times and dates are correct.
Word List - Allows you to specify the correct form of a word that should be used. For example, you could specify to only use website as one word and not two.
Regular Expressions - Allows you to set up regular expressions.
NOTE |
Studio uses the .Net syntax for regular expressions. For more information on how to use regular expressions, see http://www.regular-expressions.info/reference.html. |
Trademark Check - Allows you to check that trademarks are used correctly.
Length Verification - Allows you to check that the length is no longer than a specified number of characters.
QA Checker Profiles - Allows you to save, switch and share QA Checker profiles. Profiles contain the settings specified on all of the pages in the QA Checker 3.0 settings.
Click OK to save your settings and close the dialog box.
